Promote nurse well-being and improve retention in your organization.
Is your organization facing high turnover rates for your nurses?
Are your nurses reporting high percentages of burnout?
Looking for an innovative way to support nursing retention and wellbeing?
THEN IT’S TIME TO CREATE A NURSE SABBATICAL PROGRAM
The reality of the nursing profession is that almost 50% are burned out and a third of nurses are considering leaving the profession. While many organizations, probably like yours, are increasing your wellness initiatives such as yoga, mindfulness, EAP, is it enough?
We know the problem is multifaceted including patient violence, staffing, and burnout. I believe if sabbaticals are incorporated into strategic planning for nursing retention and wellbeing, there will be an improvement in turnover rates, engagement, and patient outcomes. The power of sabbaticals allows nurses to rest, reflect, and rejuvenate themselves, to return to work with improved capacity to do the work they love.
Here's how I can help you Retain your nurses and Support their wellbeing</b

I have been working with Amy for several months now in order to create a sabbatical proposal initiative to present to my manager and hopefully implement throughout the hospital. Amy has been instrumental in writing this proposal. She has been very generous with her time and her ideas, guidance, and feedback have been incredibly helpful.
