Rest, Reflect, & Rediscover
Your Passion for Work and Life
Are you dreaming of taking that dream trip but can never get enough time off?
Are you feeling burned out or unfulfilled  from your nursing role and not sure what to do?
Do you wish you had time and freedom to explore some of your interests?
Then it’s time for you to consider the benefits of a sabbatical.
A sabbatical, also known as a career break or adult gap year, allows you to take extended time off from work to pursue interests such as traveling, research, a business idea, a new hobby or skill, spending more time with family, or just to rest. You can create a sabbatical that allows you to return to your place of work when completed or decide to take a sabbatical when transitioning between roles or careers. Yet so, many nurses, nurse practitioners, nurse leaders feel trapped in the daily grind, unhappy or unfulfilled, unable to give themselves permission to take a break and look after their wellbeing.

Amy inspired me to take a 1 month sabbatical in between roles. I never thought of taking time off in between jobs. With her guidance and Support, I was able to start my new job fully rejuvenated versus feeling tired and exhausted.

I am an experienced nurse who after many years became exhausted in my role but still wanted to do nursing. After speaking with Amy, I took a sabbatical, worked in a per diem seasonal role, and was able to explore more of my interests and spend time with my family. I have now returned to working full time into a role I love.
Thank you Amy.

Although I am not a nurse, I was feeling burned out from my corporate role. My job offered sabbaticals but I never thought about taking one. Then I found Amy! She shared with me her experience with her sabbatical, the benefits, and how I can plan for it. 3 months later, I am on my 2nd day of sabbatical. It feels amazing to pause from the day to day grind and pursue my passions.
