Who moved my cheese by Dr. Spencer Johnson

Do you have a list of book recommendations, but never investigate them? I recently participated in a webinar for new business owners, and they mentioned this book. I wrote it down and ordered it immediately on Amazon.

This book is the story of 2 mice, Sniff and Scurry, and 2 human-like beings, Hem and Haw, who are in the search of cheese. You witness how they all seek cheese, manage their frustrations, and push themselves ( or not) to continue their journey to find cheese.

Why read the book: It is a great book if you are reflecting on where you are in life and contemplating what your next steps are in pursuit of “your cheese.” How do you navigate the changes that occur in life?

Best Part: Inherently, you begin identifying which character fits your personality and which one you would become most frustrated with.

Best Quotes:Sometimes, Hem, things change, and they are never the same again. This looks like one of those times. That’s life. Life moves on. And so should we.”

“Smell the cheese often so you know when it is getting old.”

Overall: This book resonated with me in so many ways as I am on sabbatical. We will never live the life we had pre-pandemic. In addition, we should reassess, often, what is working in our lives and what is not. The book is a quick 76 page read that allows you to ponder your approach to life.

Would I recommend this read? 👍🏽
